User's guide for mobiles and tablets
Getting started
The application layout is responsive: it automatically adapts to the user's device: smartphone and tablet. The first time you connect to the application from your smartphone, you are prompted to log-in. By default use the "sysadmin" or the "anonymous" accounts. Note that the "anonymous" account does not allow to publish or comment pictures.
Once you are logged-in you access to the application welcome page. A quick tap on the screen toogles the top and bottom menu bars. When the mobile is turned around, the application layout is resized to display with portrait or landscape mode.
The application main menu allows:
- to browse the images through time,
- to use search criteria and
- to take pictures and publish them.
You browse pictures by navigating through year, months and shooting sequences.
In a shooting sequence, to scroll the pictures, you swipe the screen from right to left or from left to right. A quick tap on the screen toogles the top and bottom menu bars.
The right to left swipe shows the next picture.
A click on the "Menu button reveals the main menu."
When you browse a picture, a click on the bottom bar, button "Comment" displays for few seconds a "Post-it" with the picture and shooting sequence comments. A second click on the "Post-it" allows to edit the comments.

Search images
A click on the "Search" button opens a search pannel where you select search criteria:
- from and to dates,
- themes (or attributes),
- picture minimum rating.
Once you click on the "Search" button, the application retrieves the list of pictures which match your criteria and displays them. You can browse the pictures by swipping from right to left on the screen.
